Bryn Gwlad’s baronial award The Silver Chalice was created by Baron Sir Pendaran & Baroness Jehanne as a nod of respect to Sir Riccardo. The symbol of the chalice was an item that once belonged to Sir Riccardo, which is now in possession of Baron Sir Pendaran.

Sir Riccardo is said to had been a large than life character. Even if you didn’t know him personally he was someone everyone knew him. Every year since Gulf War existed at Bryn Gwlad’s Candlemas he would call out loudly with his fist held high,”War. War. War.” The populace in attendance would shout back with their fist held high with “War.War. War.” Bryn Gwlad and Ansteorra continue this tradition in memory to him.
