Lady Dail was an early member of the Bryn Gwlad group who was the creator of the Candlemas tradition. She was the first autocrat of the first Candlemas as well as holding a number of offices in the Barony and received her Halberd in 1979. She had been very active in the SCA many years and had become inactive when the family had moved to Bastrop quite a few years back. She and Master Gwilym attended the Peerage Tea that was held and several people got to meet her then.
