Due to severe weather, the Coronation ceremony, previously scheduled for January 12-14 in the Shire of Brad Leah, has been rescheduled. The Crown has done the Barony of Bryn Gwlad the great honor of choosing us to host Their Royal Highnesses’ Coronation ceremony concurrently with Queen's Champion, on January 26-28.

Youth Activities

12:00 noon – 1:00 pm  Youth Heraldic Scavenger Hunt
The youth will be given drawings of heraldic devices in black and white, with the blazon written out (so they at least have to know or be able to guess the colors). They will go around the site in teams with an adult looking for the devices, which will be displayed during the hunt. They will receive a token from those displaying the device. The difficulty in finding the displayed device will vary. There will be several registered devices and several badges in the hunt.

2:00 – 4:00 pm:   Stool Ball and Bocce Ball
The youth will be taught the rules and allowed to try a real medieval team sport game. Adults are welcome to take part in the game. Also there will be a Bacce Ball set and the youth will have an opportunity to learn how to play Bachi Ball as well.
